Edevbie Drops 2023 Delta Governorship Ambition, Sympathisers console him on social media
The chief of Staff to the Delta State government, Olorogu David Edebvie has dropped his 2023 Delta State governorship ambition.
Olorogun David Edevbie made this known on Monday in his social media handle in his post; "You will sometimes find it necessary to let things go, simply for reasons that they no longer meet your expectations".
Sympathisers already taking to his social media handle to grasp the reason for his decision and also give his some sympathy.
Olorogun David Edevbie was the choice political ambassador of the Urhobo people in 2014 when the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) endorsed him.
Reports had it before now that; "The road for him becoming the governor got galloped with the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) obtained interim forfeiture of millions of Naira belonging to his elder brother, Matthew Edevbie, who also made his billions from Ibori".
"The 2023 election is too crucial to allow a sin that can be washed away become the main hold of the opponents when in times of serious politicking".
