A serious Political upheaval looms in Delta State. Aggrieved political friends of Governor Okowa has gone underground to ally With former governor James Ibori to rubbish Okowa.

Spectator reliably gathered that a political leader, People's Democratic Party stalwart from Ugheli South Local government area, Chief John Oguma, and the Delta State former Commissioner of Justice, Mr Peter Mrakor, have merged their grievances against Okowa.

They Jointly visit the former Governor, Chief James Ibori in Abuja on Wednesday and registered their grievances against Governor Okowa, questioning the rationale behind his choice of recent political appointments and the sacking of top appointees.

Mr Oguma and Mrakpor vowed to go spiritual against any plan by Okowa to deny them juicy political appointments and their 2023 political interest, stating that the time for them to get what they could is running out.

The investigation also revealed that  Oguma and Mrakpor created a political climate that is currently causing severe animosity, disunity and crises within and amongst locals of Ughelli South Local Government Council areas of the state.

Oguma had boasted before Ibori that he knows everything about Delta State politics and how various offices are used to get what is desired.

"I know all the contracts Governor Okowa has awarded and benefited from and how Okowa tries to hijack the PDP political structure of the state, we must stop him now".

They both took side with Ibori's attack against Okowa for denying the gentleman agreement for Delta central to produce the Governorship candidate 2023.

The meeting ended with criticism against Okowa for not supporting the DC -23 arrangement.
