The speaker of House of Assembly in oil-rich Delta state in the south of Nigeria, Mr. Sheriff Oborevwori is an ex-convict.

Crime: Manslaughter

Term: Jailed between 2000 and 2004

He was discharge from the prison  17/3/2005

He is currently a Governorship Aaspirnt in Delta State, Nigeria,  born 19 June 1963

Political corruption is, unfortunately, a persistent phenomenon in Nigeria.
